Some patients prefer you to send correspondence to a relative or carer.
If you add an alternative correspondence address, all mail merge letters are sent to this address regardless of what the primary address is.
To add an alternative address:
1. From Vision – Registration select the patient.
2. Select the Address tab.
3. Click Add.
4. You are prompted to select an address or communication number. Click the Address button and add the alternative mailing address.
5. Then select Correspondence address from the type of address drop-down list.
6. Click OK to continue, you can now add a contact number for the correspondence address if required.
Training Tip - The house name box can be used to record care of (c/o) details if required.
